Singapore is holding its second i Light festival in Marina Bay! It will be from the 9 March 2012 to 1 April 2012, from 7:30pm to 11pm. Artworks will be displayed along Marina Bay waterfront, with the theme of “Light Meets Asia”. It will feature over 30 sustainable light pieces by artist from all walks of life, but with its focus in Asia.
There will be many individual and group arts works, including Singapore’s Vertical Submarine.
The organizers have also given two spaces to Singapore’s two prominent art schools – Laselle College of the Arts and School of the Arts Singapore. These spaces will be host to interactive works, promoting the use of efficient and sustainable light, and visitors are encouraged to interact and experience the “talent of Singapore’s aspiring artist”.
